We’re Jordan and Nicole, a couple obsessed with saltwater fishing. We created this blog to share with you our fishing pictures, reports, advice, and stories. Jordan has over 20 years of fishing experience on the Forgotten Coast. There he learned inshore fishing primarily through trial and error, first by wading, eventually upgrading to a 16′ aluminum skiff, then an 18′ Hewes Bayfisher flats boat. He’s also spent over 17 years fishing offshore from his dad’s 22′ Angler. Over time, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge about inshore, nearshore, and offshore fishing through experience, friends, family, locals, and the online fishing community.
Nicole grew up fishing the Cape Canaveral area with her father. After moving to Tallahassee, she met Jordan and forever became hooked on fishing the Forgotten Coast with him. She is constantly learning from Jordan.
Jordan is a biological scientist whose focus is on habitat conservation and restoration of North Florida’s fresh water bodies. He’s also been involved in federal projects, including canal restoration in the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge and gag grouper research offshore. Nicole is an attorney whose focus is on contracts and public procurement. When we’re not working, we’re on the saltwater.
We hope that you enjoy our blog and are inspired to go fishing! If you have any questions, send us a message. We’d love to hear from you.
